How Meena joined ZMT
In 2021, Meena was invited by the ZMT team in Erbil to discuss their vision and goals for Kurdistan and the Kurdish hiking community. From that moment, a strong connection was formed, and the team invited her to join their hikes. Soon after, they offered her the chance to become a part of their first thru-hike project. It was an offer Meena couldn't resist, and she joined them for the first 6 days of the hike. This experience turned into one of the most memorable journeys of her life.
